When hiking on the trails, the name of the game when it comes to equipment is the lighter weight, the better.  This is especially true when filming on the trail requires an ensemble of camera gear to bring the beauty of nature from outdoors to your screen.

In my experience traveling and filming on the trails, my goal was to develop "the Swiss army knife" of camera bags.  This is a set of equipment that is both effective for mobile vlogging and as light as possible.  This is due to the fact that nearly all pieces in my gear kit serve more than one purpose.
